delegates

Attendance at SUAS is strictly limited to invited or nominated executive thought leaders in the companion animal industry [animal control and legislative enforcement, animal welfare, animal health and animal services], thus ensuring the highest calibre event possible. Any thought leader who has participated in at least one National Summit for Urban Animal Strategies in the three previous consecutive years is granted Alumnus status and is eligible to register for the 2009 SUAS.

Non-alumni and those whose Alumni status has lapsed must be nominated by a current SUAS Alumnus to be eligible to become a delegate.

To become nominated, the Nominator [a current SUAS Alumnus]  must complete this application.

Application Guidelines:

  1. Applications must be received by 15 September 2009.
  2. Nominees will be accepted, on a first-come-first served basis and SUAS reserves the right to limit the number of new nominees.
  3. The merit discussion should briefly demonstrate why the Nominee is considered by his/her peers as a thought leader.
  4.  Nominees and Nominators will immediately receive an email indicating that the application has been received. Once the Nominee is approved (within 5 business days), another email will be sent.
  5. Important: SUAS Alumni cannot be logged in when they complete the application form. The form should be completed with the Nominees information, except where it asks for the Nominator's name and email address. When prompted for a password, enter 'BSUAS'. If the Nominee is approved, he/she will be required to set their own password.
